武当派的张翠山因为和邪教的堂主白眉鹰王的女儿殷素素相恋而为江湖名门正派所不齿，幸好武当派掌门张三丰深明大义，接纳了他们和儿子张无忌（马景涛 饰）。然而所谓的名门正派并不罢休，这天齐集武当派要求张翠山讲出他的结拜兄弟邪教的金毛狮王谢逊的下落，张翠山为人侠义，不肯出卖兄弟，为了不让师傅犯难，和殷素素一起自刎于六大派面前。张无忌就这样成了孤儿，由于无忌从小就身中奇毒，张三丰每隔一段时间都要为他输入真气为他续命，也正由于这样，无忌从小就不能练武，在武当派受尽年青一辈的欺负。一次偶然，无忌掉下了武当山崖，由此开始了他奇妙的江湖之旅。。World War I is coming to its end.
