对1964年样板戏（芭蕾舞剧）的记录，本身也是改编自谢晋1961年的同名电影。。在新加坡，一家笼罩着许多秘密和神秘气息的古老店屋引起了银行家Chi Ling (Fiona Fussi) 的注意。她从香港返回新加坡，为的就是领取遗产。在办理遗产相关手续时，她渐渐走进曾祖母即神秘又黑暗的世界，并无意中揭发了这间设立于新加坡40年代初的青楼「凤凰阁」的过去。而这座历史性建筑的命运，将落在Chi Ling 的手中。她必须找寻自己的根源，了解家族的历史。《Last Madame》讲述的是 Chi Ling 和曾祖母 Fung Lan (Joanne Peh)的迷人故事，来自不同世界和时代的两人看似陌生，可是却有着微妙的关系。。Miléna is living in her grandmother's baroque château when the rich lady dies.
