As ...。王大成是个酒店大厨，无意中在马路上捡回两个乞丐，这一老一小让他的生活发生了翻天覆地的变化。自己也因女朋友负债累累，老人临死前，将自己怀里的一块宝贝交给了王大成，这块宝贝的消息一经流出，江湖上所有人都想获得这块宝贝，却因为没有老人的指点无法获得这块宝贝真正的秘密，最后，老人并没有死，而是偷偷的溜走了，其他人也没有获得真正的秘密，而王大成却只想找回老人，让他安度晚年。。所谓的“虫”，是一种超越了科学解释范畴而存在的邪恶生物。它们专门附身在心怀梦想的少男少女身上，令他们拥有能够使用超能力的特异功能，政府称他们为“附虫者”。当附虫者们为了完成自己的梦想而使用超能力时，便会在社会中制造出许多怪异的景象，引起市民的恐慌。 为了应对附虫者的存在，政府设立了名为“特别保护环境事务局”的机构，该机构负责监视附虫者，以及消灭虫，而身上的虫被消灭后，附虫者则会变为“缺陷者”。讽刺的是，在机构中供职的人们，他们本身亦是附虫者。在不断地和虫战斗的过程中，他们也在一步一步地接近他们的梦想。。
