台湾博物馆珍贵文物“断砚”失盗后，特警东方克跟踪洪云，经香港来到古都。香港昌东古物珠宝有限公司高级雇员钟济昌一伙为寻断砚也同机抵达。于是，各方展开了一场明争暗斗。我公安人员乔装打扮周旋在洪云、夏青青、钟济昌、东方克之间，用生命保住了国宝断砚。东方克带着失盗的半方返回台湾。。靠捡垃圾为生的王小明爱上盲人卖花女迷笛，误认为王小明是富豪的迷笛多次得到王小明的帮助并最终治好了眼睛开了花店，王小明也因为帮助迷笛狼狈不堪离开了迷笛，后来，迷笛终于找到了王小明，两个人幸福的在一起了。。The second series of Outnumbered began on 15 November 2008.
