四川大凉山上的偏僻原民村落，过着人畜共食的生活。近年来，村庄通电有了电视，也陆续有大学生支教志愿者前来授课。苏甘以布与孤母相依为命，不识字的他借着电视与听课窥视外界。他赞许领导人政策，与来来去去的代课老师们谈起政治、经济、教育，不同认知与价值观针锋相对，带出对落后与文明的矛盾反思。。Everyone has an opinion on bad cars... now it's time to hear the ones that really count--ours...
