故事发生在东京大田区，在羽田机场附近的小镇里，有一间名叫九十九堂的旧书店，书店里常常能够找到在市场中失传已久的旧漫画，因此有着非常广泛的顾客群。九十九樱（真矢美纪饰）是书店的主人，在书店里，还有着另一方秘密的天地——一间被唤作休息室的房间，在那里，常常聚集着无处可去的人们。 对于这些人，樱子从来不会问他们的来路，也不会对他们的过去过多的打听，她只是为他们免费的提供着一碗碗美味的亲子饭，填饱他们饥肠辘辘的口腹。在感受到温暖之后，这些人们会对樱子坦露心声，而樱子亦不会对他们的故事多加评判。。This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。
