卡兰已经几个月没出门了。他坚持认为远离这个世界的纷扰，自己一个人在家会更快乐。而后有一天，两个女人、一个高个子和一个裹着气泡垫塑料包装的小坏蛋闯入卡兰精心打理的生活和房子，而且事先没有任何通知。随之而来的是一片混乱，这时卡兰意识到，不管他怎么努力，都不可能永远把世界拒之门外。。An old friend of a private detective is murdered.
