故事从鲁邦三世与次元大介在一间法国乡村小镇公寓里的房间开始。网络上存在一个黑暗的网站「马可波罗」，在那里你可以买到任何非法的东西，如毒品和枪支。为了窃取数位货币，鲁邦入侵了一个严密的服务器设施，并且遇到一位天才黑客少女艾咪。接着鲁邦在「马可波罗」上被悬赏高额的奖金，而鲁邦跟艾咪要共同面对来自各方的杀手......。故事时间则设定为前作的五年之后，亚瑟已然选择金盆洗手，与挚爱吉娜隐姓埋名共度美好人生。然而像亚瑟这种高手想要全身而退谈何容易，反派最终绑架了吉娜来要挟亚瑟，让他去杀三个人。为了他的爱人能够逃脱，亚瑟被迫再度从事刺客工作，他必须在有限的时间内完成一系列不可能的刺杀任务。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
