Will these misfits be able to overcome their differences, defeat the security guard and gain...。老婆婆林美玉（鲁园 饰）受旧传统影响很深，儿媳秦思平（归亚蕾 饰）特别顺从她，说啥听啥。如今，自己的儿子区大良（吴军 饰）所娶的媳妇吴芮（何琳 饰），所做所为完全入不了自己的眼，但老婆婆却对孙媳妇处处袒护，秦思平受起了夹板气，她决定来个“婆媳过招”。吴芮的妈妈吴玉芬（朱玉荣 饰）由于早年与秦思平的丈夫谈过恋爱，一直成为秦思平的谈资，而两亲家母一见面，也是以吵架为主。吴英为（林申 饰）不断往家带女朋友，玉芬搞不清究竟哪个会成为自己的儿媳妇。宋春霞（贾妮 饰）是玉芬和思平年轻时的死党，如今生活小康，闲来无事在两人之间传个闲话，往往好心办了坏事。这时，大良的前女友何凝（朱俐颖 饰）海外归来，带来的两岁男孩引发了关于身世之谜的家庭大战......。
