本片从现实与历史两个视角出发，带领观众走进电影《金刚川》剧组。以电影拍摄为时间线，以“桥”的建设与炸毁为重要核心段落，纪实性地跟踪拍摄电影剧组的台前幕后，展现三位导演如何攻坚克难、高效地完成电影艺术创作，刻画中国电影人在“疫情”这一特殊环境中以及抗美援朝70周年纪念这一特殊历史时刻里，团结一致、大局为重、甘于奉献的精神。同时，本片还将从电影《金刚川》出发，穿越历史的硝烟，从丹东到北京，通过纪实性的探访、寻找，通过真实的遗迹、遗物、资料和相关人物的口述，真实还原70年前那场决定性的战役——金城战役，展现中国人民志愿军和中国人民的爱国主义、革命英雄主义和紧密团结共同御侮的精神，体现了中华民族巨大的凝聚力和向心力。。The Once-Lers are told by the owner that they can sit on the wagon and that it had better not move.
