电影讲述的老伍是东北某小城镇有着30多年历史的“民乐大众浴池”中一个普通的搓澡师傅，手艺精湛，性格乐观。然而为了拯救遭遇车祸而昏迷的儿子斌斌的事业危机，老伍毅然南下深圳，接管“海洋之星”洗浴中心，和他曾经的三位老工友们一起再次并肩作战，水土不服的“民乐浴池四大天王”在南方现代大都市中发生了一系列啼笑皆非的故事。。When Rodolfo, a penniless poet, meets Mimì, a seamstress, they fall instantly in love. But their happiness is threatened when Rodolfo learns that Mimì is gravely ill. Rodolfo is painfully aware that he cannot afford the medicine and care Mimì needs, and so separates from her.
