1942年欧洲卷起纳粹浪潮 ，法国亦不能幸免，巴黎有过万名犹太人被警察拘捕送往集中营，孩子被迫与父母分离，部份更被分批屠杀。11岁的犹太少女莎拉 与家人亦难逃一劫，为保护弟弟，她将弟弟锁在房间小秘室中免被警察拘捕。最终莎拉与家人被送往集中营，可是她一直紧握着小秘室的钥匙，希望有日可逃回家拯救弟弟。。某大厦的天台处，一名年轻的女子小英正要跳下，这时地上跑步的明光立刻跑过去救下小英，而另外一个青年伟也赶来，好不容易把小英救下。 小英因父去世，而有一笔保险金被保险公司诬告自杀，伤心走去其父意外的天台，不料看到一个东西从远处射来，才意外坠下，并非想跳下。明光为了分小英保险金的五分之一，帮她调查真相……。CBS will be bringing back another one of its veteran dramas for the 2019-20 TV season.
