该剧是《九尾狐传》的前传，讲述迫降到1930年代的九尾狐的怪谈狩猎故事。描写李砚（李栋旭）变成山神的过程以及第一季里没有铺垫的李郎（金汎）的故事。 金素妍饰演绝世美人柳洪珠。有着”不老”的传言，是京城高级餐馆“妙延阁”的主人，她原本是西山神，是和李砚一起统治朝显半岛的四大山神之一。。严林（周惠林 饰）是狙击手训练队的总教官，手下有两个优秀的学生——韩光（傅程鹏 饰）和蔡晓春（孙逊 饰），他们即是患难与共的兄弟也是竟争中的对手，而且还同时爱上了军医赵百合（杨舒 饰）。在一次行动中，蔡晓春因违犯军纪被开除军籍，赵百合和他一起离开了部队，后来听说他出国沦为雇佣兵。五年后，已是功勋狙击手的韩光转业到滨海，他的专用狙击枪神秘被盗，而赵百合则被这支枪猎杀，韩光成了被通緝的杀人疑犯。就在这时，蔡晓春离奇出现在滨海，他受黑手何世荣（宁晓志 饰）雇佣，准备猎杀海外财团老总何世昌（赵之连 饰）。就这样，当年的战友加兄弟，韩光和蔡晓春将展开一场生死对决……。“What is a woman to do in the current dating climate?
