1988年的奥运会刚过去，韩国人民也正为自己国家取得的荣誉高兴。但一个震惊的消息使整个社会人心惶惶：正在服重刑的犯人池江赫（李成宰 饰）跟其他犯人逃走了。 这些逃犯们拿着枪支到民居家里抢夺跟挟持人质。令首尔人民惶恐之余，他们对犯人们的长相也十分稀奇，他们不像一般的罪犯那样长得穷凶极恶，而是十分彬彬有礼，富人情味与同情心。 逃犯们在逃走的第9天，躲到了一户民宅中。之后被警察发现了，池江赫跟同伴一起与警察展开生死搏斗。。1918年，芬兰某拘留营里，一群被判死刑的演员接到一则残酷指令：若能编排喜剧表演逗笑即将来访的德国将军，他们便可获得赦免。营地指挥官定下这一规则后，所有人都清楚，能否让将军展露笑容，直接决定着自己的生死。。Givers of Death (G.O.D.) is an apocalyptic sci-fi tale of redemption.
