碌碌无名的杂志撰稿人藏岛优斗（片寄凉太饰）几乎每天都去投币式自助洗衣店。 在那儿他遇见了刚来东京不久的摄影见习生寺坂琴音（清水久留巳饰）。 对藏岛过分亲昵的寺坂。在这两人面前出现了“洗衣神”。。After a deadly mist has wiped out most of humanity, a mysterious organisation is trying to save what's left of humankind.。An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption. This seems a small event at first sight but soon it becomes clear that it is the start of a long chain of eruptions. In the movie we see people rushing to save their lives and gradually it becomes a global phenomena that has ability to enfulf the whole globe。
